Tap Settings, choose General and then Restrictions.<\/p>\n<p>2. Choose Enable Restrictions. You need to set up a passcode\u00a0which is then used to protect them from being altered in the future.\u00a0Your child will not be able to access the Restrictions screen without\u00a0the passcode.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/firstnrc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/passcode.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-medium wp-image-184 alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/firstnrc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/passcode-199x300.jpg\" alt=\"passcode\" width=\"199\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.firstnrc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/passcode-199x300.jpg 199w, https:\/\/www.firstnrc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/passcode.jpg 325w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 199px) 100vw, 199px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>3. <\/strong>The number of controls available to you once you&#8217;ve set up the passcode is vast. So you can choose to disable the Safari browser, Camera and FaceTime, among others &#8211; all at the swipe of an on-screen button.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/firstnrc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/allow.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-medium wp-image-183 alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/firstnrc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/allow-283x300.jpg\" alt=\"allow\" width=\"283\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.firstnrc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/allow-283x300.jpg 283w, https:\/\/www.firstnrc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/allow.jpg 451w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 283px) 100vw, 283px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Parents of younger children may also be keen to block in-app purchases, the iTunes store and the ability to install or delete apps.<\/p>\n<p>The other area of control that parents may appreciate is\u00a0the topic of allowed content.
